Rothsay is looking for a new face and voice to greet our high net worth clients. To be successful in fulfilling this role you must be professional, well presented, motivated and enthusiastic. You will need to be prepared to multitask, have excellent communication skills as you will need to develop a rapport with people of all ages and proficient in all Microsoft applications and basic computer functionality. Your role will also encompass being the Team Assistant to the Audit Division. The main duties will include, but certainly not limited to: managing the reception desk, welcoming and attending to clients, daily banking, budgeting, reporting and invoicing, resource management, preparation of tenders and proposals, boardroom bookings and room preparation, office housekeeping, marketing.


Role and Responsibilities

The role will be broken in to two components – Reception and Team Assistant.


  • Managing switch board
  • Ordering of office supplies
  • Daily banking
  • Meet and greet clients


Team Assistant to Audit Division:

  • Assistant to Kamal Thakkar (Audit Partner) including duties such as diary management, client communications, scheduling and becoming a key coordinator for the audit team’s administrative needs
  • Assisting with Audit billings, WIP and budgeting reports
  • Preparation of engagement letters, audit client reports, proposals, tenders etc.
  • Supporting the Rothsay LinkedIn and Facebook pages
  • Ad hoc administrative duties


Qualifications and Education Requirements

Ideally we require you to have at least 2 years experience as a receptionist, preferably in the Professional Services industry, but this is not a pre-requisite. We encourage candidates of all levels and different industries to apply.


Preferred Skills

Ideally we would like someone with exceptional computer skills and to be innovative. We are constantly looking for ways to improve and make our business more efficient and this role lends itself to being able to instigate those. You must have a high level of communication and confidence as you are the first point of contact for the vast majority of our large client base.
