A specialist area at Rothsay our experienced Company Auditors all have substantial expertise to cover all assurance and risk requirements. Size doesn’t matter in the area of audit as an audit review can assist in determining whether:
- statutory reporting obligations are met;
- information used for decision-making is reliable;
- policies and procedures and other legal requirements are being followed;
- assets are safeguarded;
- resources are used economically; and
- objectives are achieved in a timely manner.
Our role is to identify and suggest improvements so that remedial action can be taken. Through the appropriate information independent assessments can be ascertained about the efficiency and effectiveness of systems and, if necessary, recommendations to improve performance or internal controls in their area.
As external auditors our role is to form a view on the financial reports prepared by our clients.
